Mission and principles

  1. Community first. The IMA exists so micronationalists can find, learn from and enjoy one another's projects.
  2. Self-determination within the organization. Every member country decides its own government, offices and website within the shared rules.
  3. Transparency. Votes, diplomatic changes and advertising are recorded and labelled honestly. Operating costs and income are reported to members.
  4. Safety and privacy. We collect as little personal information as possible and never ask for addresses, phone numbers or identification.
  5. Honesty about status. We do not claim legal sovereignty or recognition for anyone.
  6. Low cost, self-hosted. The platform runs on the founder's own hardware with minimal external dependencies.
