About the IMA
The International Micronational Assembly (IMA) is an independent online organization for micronations and micronationalists, hosted at imassembly.org. It is run by volunteers on self-hosted equipment and funded by small, clearly labelled advertisements from the community itself.
What the IMA is
- A directory of micronations with their own pages and websites.
- A venue for diplomacy between micronations.
- A General Assembly where member countries debate and vote on resolutions.
- A community forum and newsroom.
What the IMA is not
Membership in the IMA is not recognition by any existing government, and it confers no legal sovereignty. Decisions of the General Assembly bind only the organization and its members by their own agreement. The IMA is not a registered charity, non-profit legal entity, or tax-exempt organization unless that is announced separately.
